Vehicle Overview

This 1993 Jaguar XJR-S was purchased by the seller in 2018 from and now shows just 48,250 miles. It is finished in  XJR-s Red  over a Biscuit leather interior, and it is one of 100 hand-built examples produced for the US market by JaguarSport, a joint venture between Jaguar and Tom Walkinshaw Racing. Power comes from a TWR-modified 6.0-liter V12 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. This XJR-S is now offered with factory literature, a car cover, a clean Carfax report, and a current registration in the owners name. This example is one of 24 coupes finished in Red of the 50 coupes built for the US market. XJR-S models were equipped with unique side skirts, body-color bumper covers, and a rear spoiler. Tinted taillights, chrome accent trim, rear-quarter windows with XJR-S branding, and headlight washers also came as standard. This car is currently registered in the state of Ct. XJR-S-specific wheels produced by Speedline were originally staggered-width Goodyear Eagle ZR50 tires measuring 225/50 up front and 245/55 out back. The XJR-S featured an upgraded suspension utilizing specially-tuned Bilstein shocks and TWR springs. The cabin is trimmed in biscuit  Connolly Autolux leather with matching carpets and walnut sapwood accents on the dash, doors, and center console. Features include power windows and locks, heated and powered seats, cruise control, a cassette stereo, automatic climate control, and a numbered placard from the jeweler Asprey.

Instrumentation includes a 160-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for oil pressure, coolant temperature, fuel level, and battery.

The hand-build JaguarSport 6.0-liter V12 featured a modified crankshaft, forged pistons, a Zytek engine management system, and other changes from the standard version to produce 318 horsepower and 339 lb-ft of torque when new. Shifting is through a GM-sourced three-speed automatic transmission.
