This should be a great weekend, just as in the past, with festivities starting with the welcome party on Friday with beer, wine, and pizza, the Concours and awards banquet on Saturday, and winding up with the Poker Run on Sunday morning (a detailed schedule is below).

As in the past several years, we will have the Hospitality Suite, and could use your culinary help. Contributions of appetizers, salads, and desserts to accompany the pizzas on Friday night, or breakfast, lunch, or snack items to share during the Concours weekend would be most welcome. Refrigerator space will be available.
If you have been to a JANE Concours in the past (this is the 44th) you know it is a well-organized and fun event with great cars and lots of fun at a beautiful lake-side setting. If you haven't, it's time you tried it out. Don't have a "Concours" car? Your car has some blemishes? Don't want to spend days cleaning and polishing? No problem. Enter your car in our Display class. You get all of the fun of participating in the event with no competitive pressure.

Sunday Poker Rally -- Each paid participant will be given a card at the start of the rally. There will be three stops along the journey where you will receive an additional card, then back to the hotel for the last card. The winning poker hand takes home half the ante. As last year, Rich Kosinski will manage the Sunday Poker run and will plan another great route, stopping at selected inns or wineries in the area. If you have not participated in one of the Poker Runs recently, we highly recommend it as a fun brief tour in your Jaguar with other enthusiasts -- and the potential to win the pot at the end of the run! |
