The New England Concours returns for 2026 with a new location, same great people and, of course, fabulous cars!
The New England Concours d'Elegance 2026 will take place Saturday, October 17 at the Lionhart Country Club, 65 Nod Road, Avon, Connecticut.
For the past two years, the concours has graced the lawn of The Farmington Polo Club to support the Hometown Foundation and the Klingberg Automotive Restoration Program. This year, in addition to a fresh field, there will be a new featured marque: Mercedes!
Since they did a great job in the past, we're asking Wayne Carini to return as our grand marshal and Dean Cusano as our lead judge.
If you are making your plans for great autumn weekends, you should put the NEC on your calendar. There will be two ways to participate: judged and non-judged. Dean has used his considerable contacts to pull together some of the best judges in the country, to view these cars with experience and a true appreciation for the stories each owner will share: how long they've owned the car, why they chose this vehicle in which to invest their time, money, and heart, and what adventures have they had on the road (and in the garage.)
When you attend the NEC, you will have fun with fellow car enthusiasts and, together, you will support two important non-profit organizations working to improve our community:
The Hometown Foundation supports animal welfare, emergency response personnel, military, major illness/those in need, and individuals with intellectuals or developmental disabilities.
Klingberg Family Centers extends hope and healing to children and families whose lives have been traumatized by abuse and/or neglect in its various forms, severe family problems and mental health issues.
In addition to the concours, families could play with baby goats, visit vendor tables, enjoy games, and eat delicious food. History came alive with opportunities to learn about automotive history in a way that comes alive as those enhanced by the stories tell them through their own words and the work they've put into the cars.
